Sarah Benjamin, pediatric nurse practitioner, received her bachelor’s degree with a Spanish minor from Hope College and her master’s degree with a certificate in nursing education from the University of Michigan. Sarah has over six years of experience in pediatrics, including the neonatal ICU, and she loves being part of Emmaus Health and offering family-centered care from a Catholic Christian perspective. Sarah is also on staff as a newborn hospitalist at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. She is passionate about promoting optimal family health through education and disease prevention.
Sarah and her husband have one daughter, and they are parishioners at Christ the King Catholic Church in Ann Arbor. She has participated in domestic and international mission work, and is co-director for Pine Hills Girls Camp, where she has served since 2006. Sarah loves the Detroit Tigers and is developing a fondness for the Lions as she tries to expand her football knowledge beyond touchdowns and field goals.
